Banning of weapons & emotes

This thread is getting pointless.

To answer the title;

He can ban players for emotes if that's what the rules are set to. What EA did with the term "admin abuse" is simply drop it and let the server owner run the server how he feels. If those are his rules, then the ban is justified and its not admin abuse, even though it is silly to ban someone over a gesture in my opinion.

here we go with assumptions again eh. We are two different players, and I'm not a he! Get your facts straight, why do I even bother to talk to brainless folks....I don't know

ok, i've read the whole thread now and i think i understood the main message:"Most people who are using the emote are bad, because they want to demoralize others with it.Some people get very sad of it and take it very serious. Without these emote-guys the game is better and they get kicked."
If there is an option for it, i would perfer if people get kicked for using this emote too often. And for the word "noob" in the chat the same would be good, too.
But you should think about the people with only a few emotes, like my royal soldier. He has only 3 extra emotes and i use the "looser" emote because it was in a cheap package of the dotd, and it would be annoying to get kicked because of this. this is another reason for kicking ONLY after spamming this and not for 1 use of it.

thank you dude for being the first to finally understand what we are doing +1
rules are posted every 4 minutes and we watch to see we dont kick someone that just joined using the emotes
Sometimes we are in a good mood and just tell people off
BUT mostly we just kick as i myself feel a kick gets the message across first time plus if we kick all first time then there is no moaning that we treat some different from others

as for spamming chat with words like loser idiot noob nub etc they get warned for langauge telling them to treat others with respect
if they dont listen to us then we kick them

We want a server without any juvenile idiocy or abusive behaviour thats why we rented one
as for not having many emotes on acct well just dont use that emote and all is fine
we have vips that use those emotes on other servers but remove them before joining our server so as not to mistakenly use it !

It seems like you actually like what we are doing now you fully understand what was said previously

personally i like the loser emote, cuz it has a funny sound and is really fun, even when you get taunted... the noob clap is a really frustrating emote, though

thanks for reading and understanding you got the gist of it. herb already explained it. I'd just add that I warned people at the beginning instead of kicking them - unlike herb. 1st - 8 out of 10 ignored it or took it as encouragement, 2 out of 10 argued. 2nd - After so many warnings you grow well tired of it and wonder what the point is warning them as it seems to make matters worse. it s on the banner, it s posted every 4 min, it s in the rules command, there is no excuse. while it s loading, you have the possibility to quit when you don t like the rules that are on the banner. Just because something is there, is not a reason to use it.
