[Game Mode] Campaign Mode (Single Player or Offline Co-op)

One new feature I would like to see in this game is a single player game or campaign mode where you aren't worried about other people being a higher level than you and always dying.

What do you do in this game mode?
In this mode you can play with up to four people of the same faction. In this game mode, you work together to complete various tasks assigned by your squad leader. There are also different set difficulties you can play on: Easy (Levels 1-10), Medium (Levels 11-20), Hard (Levels 21-30), or Extreme (only for the heroes on the top 1000 leaderboard). The missions you do aren't like the ones you do in multiplayer.

What kind of missions do you do?
There are 15 stages for each stage in the mode. The Nationals and Royals will have different the same missions, except they are doing the opposite of what the other faction is doing. For example, if the Royals have to invade a town occupied by the Nationals, then the Nationals will have to defend it. In each stage, there will be a fight between Royals and Nationals. The difficulty level only changes the level and abilities of your NPC (Non-Player Character) opponents. The difficulty of each mission changes the farther you go into the mode.

To start the mission, your squad master will say something like (Royal Squad Master):
The Nationals have recently captured the town of Buccaneer Bay. They've only sent a small brigade to capture it. Our resources say they are only Privates. Since you've just got here, I'm sending you guys down there.

The National Squad Master will say something like:We've been notified that Royals troops are being sent here by foot. Your squad will have to defend against the enemy.

Do you earn the same amount of XP and VP as you do in multiplayer mode?
You will earn 10% less XP and VP than you do in multiplayer the higher difficulty you play on. For example, playing on easy mode will get you 10% less XP and VP, while medium gets you 20% less. This mode requires less skill. The NPCs have the skill of an average player with default weapons.

What are the restrictions?
Commandos: Cannot just run through the map in stealth
Solution:All enemies have mark target ability

All classes: NO HACKING!
Solution: Well, there is none for that :'(

Yes, I like this idea. It would be good for people who like the game but often experience connection issues when playing online.

Wouldn't you want it to be the higher the difficulty, the more VP and XP you get, so that there is an incentive to play on harder difficulties? I usually play easier difficulties when starting a game, then work my way up, but your design has it where no one will want to try harder, unless they have some sort of leaderboard in place.

Also, I don't see this happening anytime soon, mostly due to the fact that there are few, probably zero, free to play games that have both single player and multiplayer in them. It's a lot to code for little payoff.

I've noticed that as you grow levels, the need for BF is greater. BF eliminates the need for VP, so that's why I said 10% less.

What about battleforge? it has both single and multi player game types. And i can really see this as a free to download x-box live and ps3 network game. It would expand the player base greatly, and bring in massinve amounts of revenue for the game. A co-op/single player mode for all platforms, and a split-screen mode for consoles. This would be the greatest this to happen to gaming in like forever! All I can say, is DO IT!!! 10000000000000000% signed.
