I'd like to use a couple of images of my in-game character in my sig, but I don't want to host the pic on a site such as photobucket or imageshack etc, because of the NDA.
Can anyone suggest a solution? Oi! Put a beacon down! |

you don't need to host the pics you are using, unless you are collecting them so someone else can make the sig for you.
However if you want, send them to me through email (or xfire/steam if you have them, would be easier) and I can host them on my site and then give you the links privately

I have already made my own sig image using some in-game content (see attached). However, to place an image in your sig field in this forum you must have a link for the image (obviously). Before you can have that link, you have to host your image *somewhere*. It's very kind of you to allow me to use your site to host my sig, although I expect that would still technically be breaching the NDA. I've had an idea though: After I post this, I'm going to try and use the URL from the attached image in this post, and then copy it into my sig. Lets see if that works... ![]() EDIT: No, that doesn't work it turns out. It's an animated gif you see, and the thumbnail is NOT animated. Clicking the thumbnail takes me to an attached php document rather than an image that I could include in a sig. Thus, I am still looking for a solution... Oi! Put a beacon down! |

Ah, I have noticed an option to include an attachment in a post (rather than just have the attachment displayed under it).
I'll see if that helps me get my hands on a usable URL... ![]() EDIT: Nope, as you can see, it's still staying on one frame all the time, and only appears animated when you click it and get taken to the php page. I'll keep thinking... Oi! Put a beacon down! |

It's cuz you have to click it. When it's just a thumbnail.
