Discussion: VP/BF Price Changes

I find it hard to believe that reversing a dumb ass move is so hard, cant they revert the update or something, if they took a poll how many players wanted it reversed there would be maybe 3 people not wanted it reversed, and they are the rich skill free ass wipes

I did not pay, but the day of the update i had the CC and was about to hand them 50 bucks and i saw the update, and it shot that plan right out of the sky faster than 2 commandos and a Flak gun

Being someone who has income to spend, this change is probably going to push me out for good. A lot of my friends have no job and no income (due to the current economy) and they are leaving and what fun is that for me, these kind of games are meant to be played with friends.

Also, this whole game was supposed to be fun and pretty much free, giving no advantage to someone with money. It's sad that this game is becoming a microcosm of our society in general, the people with money are the people who have the advantage.

Also, my [LMS] clan has already dropped our 'Infantry only' server with plans to drop our other 'All Maps' server if things don't change for the better. I hate to say it, but right now only privately run servers are able to defend against the major increase in hackers these past months, seeing that punkbuster is broken and doesn't even seem to be working at all.

I hope that the devs really take a long look at what they have done and fix the 2 tiered system before more people leave for good.

I'll make this really simple. I put money into this game to keep weapons, because that's worth it to me, not the health. Yet, the health is important to playing the game. My personal solution: I'll wait one more week before I quit, all my friends playing with me agree.

Fix the pricing or its over. I understand the customization isn't making enough money, but this isn't the way to fix it. Maybe only level 5 bandages for money? I'd pay if there was enough of them.

how long will they suck money out from players ? vp players will quit, and the permament weapon buyers just buy them one time.....and then ? more stupit not money worth stuff? or shut down the game, and laugh about the idiots they pay a beta, which the made alot of cash with not really much work...

i want the old vp price for weapons back or longer duration.. this is not acceptable

Wow, not only EA can't fix the hax in this game, now they want to charge more VP for 3 days? WTF EA? EA should just rape us all and get it over with.

EA you lose people, community because of your ubber thinking. If your going to change stuff, at least fix the major problems or = fail.

You can't even earn enough VP.

Still not half as effective as anti-tank, especially against good tank drivers, also because TNT is bugged.

I added up all the time I have left on my weapons for all my guys and it is 9.5 months. That cost me 1710 VP when I bought it. It would now cost me 42750. An increase from 1710 to 42750? Ridiculous.

I was keeping up but barely. I played an average of 2 hours a day or about 30 games a day which is alot. I have maybe 2k VP in the bank, I can easily use 100 bandages a day. There is no way to keep up, even doubling the proces is pushing it, I would definitely have to concentrate on just a couple of heroes if that were the case. But the way you changed it, it's not even worth trying. The grind just to get a gun for 3 days is rediculous. Here those with money to spend will dominate the battlefield. I would need about 2500 VP a day to play at what I've been playing at, I can make 5% of that. Not worth it.

Giving people who pay an advantage is not right, especially since it's something you said you would never do. Either whoever is deciding prices is out of touch with what is going on or you got extremely greedy. There really is no other explanation, noone dreamt you could go this wrong.

I've spent about 35-40 bucks on this game and was about to drop another 20 on the 30th til I saw the store. Glad I didn't do it and I won't spend anymore unless it gets reverted back to being playable evenly for everyone.
