I just gave in yesterday and bought myself some clothes after I've been playing on and off since closed beta, I always enjoyed the game and thought it was brilliant. I wouldn't have bought those clothes if I had heard of these news yesterday.

4500VP for a weapon in 30 days before it was 70 VP

While the previous BF-only emotes haven't changed, it's now 105 vp for three days worth of "no", "yes," "thanks", and "incoming." Or 135 BF. Guess nobody's gonna have even these novel efforts at teamwork and courtesy.

100 supreme wrenches/bandages used to be 580 vp. now it's 1200 vp for 100, and the only option. (in sets of 10)

What the hell is this?!?!?!? In no ducking way any free-user will be able to buy weapons/widgets with these prices. What were they thinking?!?!?! No brain at all, this game was so close to balance but now they come up with this? Buahahaha, bad job...very very bad job. I would make a better dev than you.

This game is dying. I won't pay for this game.

For me its not about paying. I already payed a lot of money for clothes and stuff, but i will never play a game where you can buy yourself an advantage for real money and that's exactly what happened here.
My account is 5 month old, i have 7000 spare VP, so 1000 for 3 days is impossible for me and i suspect it's the same for most other players.
Also we all know that this is only a test balloon. If this is a success there will be more items like the shotgun.
I just hope this is a glitch.

No new knifes. Just few new clothes (nice btw with a good price), a new Shotgun, reduced BF for Weapons and everything.

The real problem is that they've eliminated avery Bandage or Wrench leaving only the lvl 5 that cost 120VP for 10uses.
Oh, and all the weapons can be bought by BF but the price for normal one are like 200VP for 3days (for the classic old weapons)

Dice. We could forgive you for the year-long wait for open beta. We could forgive you for shoddy updates you provided us during this time. We could forgive you the unbelievable number of BF clothing compared to the VP clothing. We could forgive you for the punkbuster mayhem. We could forgive you for the unsatisfactory number of free for all (non BF related) updates. We could forgive you for the troop trap and secret sniper nerf incident. But DICE, this has finally gone too far.

You have broken one your core promises. To majorly blur the gameplay differences between paying and non-paying customers. In the eyes of the people who play this game, this new update has/will ruin the game. In your eyes, you get richer. Wrong.

I know most of the DICE staff get cash privelages; after all, they did make the game. So they're used to a big fat infinite sign where the BF and VP levels are. I dare you to sign up with a new account, use your hacks to get to level 10, and tell me how long it takes for you to purchase just 1 of these weapons. Now compare that time to how long it lasts.

If you still play with your office friends, I guaruntee you will loathe looking worse, healing worse, and now, FIGHTING worse than your paying companions. Bandages are now essentially BF only, and now you're going to loathe anyone you meet who kills you with this shiny new uber weapon AND procedes to taunt you with monkey grunts. What does this person do? They quit. Bye bye chances for BF purchases.

Dice. Nobody is going to like this update.

They did adjust a few other prices. The eyepatch which was 560 BF permanent is now 380 BF permanent.

still, meh. gotta spend those BFs on weapons now.

even the lowly hand grenade is 150vp/day. funny how that's the same price as the RPG, which is far more useful. guess i'll go back to TNTing tanks w/my soldier.

One day I talked to the friend ot that I hope that DICE or EA's, etc. will not go this way and you will not need to pay real cash to be better than a kid who got father credit card.
when my time for guns is over i not play even in this game.
