I stopped playing a while back and wanted to get back into the game. I click play now, wait for the long patching to end and then it tells me it cant apply the delta file (difftempfile.dz) on the BFH folder. Says the checksum is invalid after decoding window.

Well ive never had this kind of problem but try reinstalling game maybe? or do you got punkbuster updated? and i know this sound silly but once i had a problem too and i couldnt go on my internet explorer so ive tried firefox and it worked...maybe try that. Sorry if that didnt help

Delete your temporary files.
Uninstall the game and delete the add on, and try again.--> http://www.tinyurl.com/yasjmoo If you are running Vista or 7, you need to install the new patch with a browser that has administrative privileges. Log out and close your current browser, open a new one by right clicking on your browsers icon, and then choose Run As-> Administrator. You may also want to shut down your Antivirus while you install the game. Turn it back on when the game has been installed. Good Luck S |

Any (Game) patch can cause this error.

You need to launch the uninstaller from the control panel.
