I have posted a topic like this on the main BFH website or the bfhhq website. If you are interested, look there for more detail
Yes, that is right. I put NOVEL. I am an aspiring author, hoping to make it big with this new material. I have sent in a email to DICE and I have also finished making Rough Drafts for book 1 and 2. The plot is:
The Royal Republic has been invaded by the evil National Empire. As the Empire continues to slaughter civilians and push for the capital, Royal City, a Division fights with the Royal Army to hold the line and bring the war to the enemy. Tommy Chester, a young soldier who fights in this war, learns experience and tries his very best to defeat his enemy. If the Royals fail, Tommy's family and friends will be doomed to the firing squad.
Yes, it seems dramatic, but it is mostly combat and some humor (mostly slapstick. Hey, what whould you do?), and it is pretty cool. My family and friends all like it and I hope that you will too (as soon as EA and DICE return that !@#!%!@#%!#$^#$%@#$ email...)Big Grin

Take it from me. You're taking a far too serious approach to this subject. What you should be doing is avoiding the "Evil Nationals" cliché and have the Royals invade the Nats over some pointless subject.

Think Catch-22. Take a humour-esque approach to your novels. It really makes them enjoyable reads.

Yeah if I were reading something based on Heroes, I'd prefer to see a more Pratchet approach I suppose.

I like a good read from time to time... but unfortunatly I have very little patience for WWII style books, as I find the whole era horribly boring.

Ancient history along with Knights n' stuff has always been more of an appeal to me.

I wouldn't say basing a story on a game was ever a good idea, even if it is loosly done so.

Good luck with it anyway though
