[Solution] Error 22: You were kicked by Punkbuster

Well, I've come back with solution to another error here.

Error: You were kicked by Punkbuster. (22)

Solution:

1. Open Task Manager
+ Right-click on task bar to access

2. Check on tab "Process"
+ Look for PnkBstrB.exe

3. Select it then click button "End Process"

4. Make sure afterward, PnkBstrB.exe doesn't remain anymore.

5. Click Play Now%

it works great!!!! the first time it came back and I ended task again and it worked...just make sure with vista and windows 7 you show tasks from all users because it is under system! props Japh!(I meant to put your name topic starter but of course EA censored it) I had a feeling it was something stupid...the same thing worked to fix pb errors with cod4 one time hahaha

EDIT:if it keeps coming back go to services and right click on pnkbstrb.exe and hit stop

EDIT2:after that it came back again after I backed out of a match...deleted pnkbstrb instead(don't worry it's backed up)...so far so good

can you please tell me where i can find that in windows vista
i cant find that administrative tools in control panel and i cant find services
i used the search function in the explorer but didnt find anything

ok i think i've found it
it was just because i got the german version of vista and there it is all named completely differnt

okay it doesnt work: i disabled it and deleted it and it still appears
punkbuster is the greatest not so good on earth

update:

if you don't see the process "PnkBstrB.exe" you can try to click "show processes of all users".


BUT: didn't work for me. (
still same error. (process is closed for sure)

@Fleischi: don't delete it , it will recover from PnkBstrA.exe
Just disable PnkBstrB.exe is enough for all ^^!

I will test out the new method of PnkBstrB disabling and see If I can play more than 6 Rounds

Edit: Tried it out and didn't even make it 4 rounds, It came back with a vengeance and as SOON as it did I got dropped.

Edit2: Well no matter the route you take, PnkBstrB comes back with a vengeance! Seems that Evenbalance has made fools of us all as I can't seem to KEEP B Offline, BUT I will say that while it IS offline there's no lag, no hitching, no kicking, no disconnects or anything. SOON as it pops back on though there's Lag, Hitching, Kicking, Disconnects and the Dreaded 5 sec lag spike

@AeonGamer: your reason is not right!
Once you stop PnkBstrB.exe SERVICE not PROCESS, PnkBstrB.exe will not appear anymore!
If you do this, and still problem...I say your system is FUC*ED UP

Follow my instruction!

YOU CAN'T DELETE OR UNINSTALL PUNKBUSTER SINCE IT WILL BE RESTORE WHILE YOU LAUNCH BFHeroesUpdater.exe

You MUST HAVE PnkBstrA.exe running and PnkBstrB.exe not appearing; otherwise, you suck yourself!

This game is really nice to me i just got this error disabled the punkbuster then i got error 15 how nice of it really nice i like error's xD(... i just wanna swear right now...)

@Neolakis: PunkBuster root is the file PnkBstrA.exe; why do u disable it? ONLY PnkBstrB.exe

It didnt work for me either. I disabled it from services.msc and changed names of PnkBstrB.xtr and PnkBstrB.exe but I cannot join EA Battlefield Heroes servers.

(Also my game version is 1.02.1017.0. But I suspect from the official servers.)
