How do you uninstall the game, I am most likely overlooking something rather obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out.Huh

The same way you uninstall basically every other windows program ever made that you install.

Control Panel ---> Add or Remove Programs (xp) Uninstall a program (vista/7)

Uninstall the Browser AddOn, you can find a guide here: http://eabattlefieldheroes.custhelp.com/...tn_submit=

in vista and 7: make sure you run your browser as admin when you try again: right click on browser icon > run as administrator

that's why u don't do it that way. When you do it that way, it doesnot delete the registry value. My guess is u have never heard of a reg. file. you have to go into your computers reg. and delete the BFH reg.

1. go to start>run
2. in run, type in "regedt32
2a. if on vista/7 you need to be on admin user.
3. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Wow6432Node>Electronic Arts>EA Games
4. once here, delete the folder named Battlefield Heroes.

this should fix your installtion problem. If you need furthor assisance, please feel free to email me at support@the-rebellion.net16.net *Moderator edit* content removed by Mebes
WARNING: messing with anything else OTHER THAN the Battlefield Heroes .reg file can SEROUSLY mess up your computer. be sure of what you are doing before you do this. I am not responsible for anything that may go wrong during this fix. Next time, just uninstall it the right way Smile

For the error, "An error occurred: Failed to write registry value: Installation Dir"

If you are running Vista or 7, you need to install the game with a web browser that has administrative privileges.
- Log out and close all of your current browser windows.
- Open a new one by right clicking on your browsers icon, and then choose Run As-> Administrator.

This is how to make your browser Run As Administrator:
