Dying does not bother me at all. I don't even buy the bandages and as I play a commando, I have no problem going one on one or one on three with gunners.

I would care, if the respawn times scaled to how well your team was doing like in TF2, but since respawn times are fixed to 5 seconds, I could really care less.

One of our goals early on was to reduce the frustration of dying that was prevalent in previous Battlefield games. The shorter spawn time, 'kill cam', and no one-shot kills were our way of doing this. Good to see we've had some results.
On the question of auto-spawning at a base with no vehicles. We have some code (new to Heroes) which should spawn in a vehicle for you either when you spawn or soon after. Just wait at the base and something should turn up (we have to wait for another vehicle on the map to die sometimes before we bring in a fresh delivery for you). |

Last night, I was playing with an unskilled team and the Royals went spawnkilling.
That annoys the hell out of me, since you die after the first second because of nadespam or tanks. But otherwise.. I don't care. Sometimes I'll die 10 times, just to take out a tank. Most players would hide to stay alive. |
