We have another fun contest for you to play in, the “Wacky Wallpaper”! Everybody loves a good wallpaper on their desktop, so here’s your chance to make something special for everyone to use. Even if your entry doesn’t win a prize, thousands of players will see your work and even download on their computers! With such a global community, your wallpaper could be on a computer in Russia, Singapore, Canada, Germany … ANYWHERE!

Entries will be accepted till JULY 11th @ 12:00 -7 GMT (click link for your timezone).



This contest is for serious artists only, only serious entries will be allowed to move on to voting. Entries cannot be previously displayed artwork, all images used for the “Wacky Wallpaper” contest must be captured or created new by each entrant. Downloading official Battlefield Heroes images from the Battlefield Heroes website and applying the required elements will not make a valid entry, artists must capture their own NEW images.

NOTE: Buttons and Knick Knacks are acceptable. The NO EA graphics applies to Official EA of characters, images and wallpapers that already exist.

Entries can highlight your favorite faction, favorite class, favorite vehicle, favorite map or a combination of one or all. You can use text and phrases, but no foul or suggestive words. No advertising of personal or BFH fan websites and all graphics should be Heroes related. Unrelated graphics could deem your entry ineligible.

NOTE: Good imagery doesn't always make a good wallpaper, remember the icons. You don't want them to get lost in your art
NOTE: Please refrain from excessive violence or graphical gore.

While working on your entry, and you wish to get peer advice, please post your unfinished work into the contest discussion thread. Please only post your FINAL work here. If later you need to change something, or forgot something, place into a new post here. In an attempt to keep the clutter to a minimum, when posting your entries, please show ONE acceptably sized image in the post, for all other higher resolution versions, please post them as links.

Entries MUST include ONE of the required elements.
Entries will have a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768
Your file format should be .JPG or .PNG
Your entries should be 72 DPI not to exceed 100 DPI
Heroes are allowed ONE entry only.

What is a required element?
These are items that must be in your finished work.
You can make the item stand out and be bold, or it can be subtle and softly integrated into the art.
It can be used in whole, or in part, but some part of the required element must be included in the entry.

The Wallpaper should be Heroes themed. But, as long as you have either of the required elements, you can pretty much use any imagery. Certainly, a picture of 1970's muscle cars would be inappropriate, but neutral backgrounds are acceptable, BFH images would be ideal. Drawings or other renditions of BFH themed imagery is perfectly fine.

Well, as far as I know we're not to use any already existing wallpaper. So take screenshots
or make anything you like but don't forget we're s'posed to be "making" a BFH wallpaper not "remaking". I for one used a logo and a pair of BFH characters on a background I designed myself in a couple of hours

And, maybe consider turning off your signature from time to time, especially when it's five times larger than the content of your post. o_0
