Tank battles at Lighthouse

Tanks slugging it out, planes roaring overhead, AA pumping, gunners and soldiers hopping to and fro behind buildings and across fences, grenades going off everywhere. Chaos. Mayhem. And me chuckling like a little kid above my keyboard.

I hope EA will introduce more vehicle maps with wide-open spaces like Seaside Skirmish. Maybe a scenario in which one side has to escort a convoy and the other side has to stop it. With as many tanks as possible.

Heck I wouldn't mind a full-blown tank battle scenario. Hallo! Jahahaa! Cool

Who am I to deny others their favourite venue, even if it's a planes-only map?

But my favourite maps are the ones where all the hardware comes together, as massively as possible. Remember Woodyard flag in Dragn Valley, a BF2 map? It was often the crossroads, the critical flag for both teams. All would come together there. Six tanks and apc's, rpg's flying, choppers and jets roaring overhead. Total mayhem. And me in the middle every time. I loved it.

yeah hope thayl add mor maps thats just full of that stuffs , think a desert map white maybe soem bunkers where infantrys where fighting in close combat and a huge open plains where tanks and jeeps run araund crashing shooting, airplayns flying abow and AA shoting, maybe some barbwire that would hurt you if you rund into it

I would love to sea a Map that is just a field like the sea side weed fields... and 2 bases on both sides with 4-6 planes on each side that respawn each time. Then just a glory of Dogfights only! and then a few people that will take the risk in the fields and will get owned by 4 planes wingclipping him xD!!!!!!!!!

So yea... 2 buildings on each side and some treess and 4-6 planes around it...heaven.

Seriously, one of the most enjoyable experiences I ever had playing FPS was the game Vietcong and Swat 3 (I think it was 3 anyway Confused

).

They had an escort the VIP mode which was just fantastic.

Give the VIP a pistol and have him escorted to a safe point across the map. He dies, you lose. Awesome fun, awesome mode.

When this happens I just go invisible (royal commando) pop some tnts and troop-mines and I get 3 kills ^^ and destroying some tanks, after a while.
