Good guide. I dislike the ability setup though- imo elixir is a pistoler's "bread and butter". Not only does elixir absorb damage, it allows you to evade shots/escape (personally I'd do 5 elixir 1 MT).

im not really a commando who uses pistols much.but when i buy them i use them but i still go classic sniping and knifing.

My tips are:stick with a knife+long range pistol or rifle+pistols can be extremely annoying and doesn't do as much damage with 4 close range pistol shots than a stab to the toraso with knife (definetly way more if u use poisen blade. i agree stealth is very important for any commando though cuz they are most sneaky players

Did you look at the date of the OP before you replied?

This is a post from 2009... the game has changed SIGNIFICANTLY since then.

(An easy way to tell is the endorsement of TT, and the rank 1 elixer recommendation.) TT used to explode roughly .5 seconds after being thrown... Elixer used to... it used to suck.

2x VLR pistols was a build NO one was using. (Because commandos had much better options in the PS5+ fast rifle combo)

Anyhow, Just posting in hopes people will see this, realize the guide is wildly outdated and shouldn't be followed by anyone...

and will let it get buried off the first page.

Maxing Elixir can be useful too, but i use it as a lifesaver. For this purpose 10 shield and the 5 seconds of increased movement speed are enough. My lvl is Commando, lvl 9,

poision blade is terrible, at lvl 5 it does 45 damege OVER TIME, meaning that unless you're a noob and get killed theer's no point. knife kill's are meant to be fast

i use hectors hatred, and long range pistol. on average hectors hatred does 40-60 damage, even long range, point blank close range i killed ppl with a single shot that were afk and had full hp.


usually i shoot with hatred and then switch to long range and finish them off.

Good guide,
one thing i wouldn't do is max mt. i would use 5/5 stealth, 4/5 elxir and 1/5 tt. My sniper is lvl 18.
When i buy a lr pistol [hire] i use these abilities. i find that with konrads uber knife and lr pistol that my K/D is usually 15-2. By not using a rifle i am saving on ps and mt.

I have a dual pistol mando too but with a different built.
PP + vlr pistol: I love this built cuz you're like an enemy sniper but they can't follow the snipertrail so first hit pp ( go for headshot) switch to 2nd pistol ( youre aim is at the same point ) and finish him
easy because e.g you stand behind a gunner at 20m hit him in the head and finish him. 50% chance that he doesn't notice you because he cant find out who is shooting him

Well my Playing style is different I would have my second weapon as a knife and my first weapon as a Close range pistol with a third weapon Grande luncher. The pistol is always to use to be use with a gun uses Leg it and the Knife is to use it when the gunner dont have leg it as for Soldier Grenade lunchers can be use to blast soldiers close to you So then u can knife them if they uses Blast strike u can always use to ur elixer to get close to them and at the same time damaging them with ur first hand weapon as a pistol and drop troop trap while u do damage. But for fighting againist Sniper in Range of course u can out match them but u can sneak away from them and find a chance in killing them

Lvl 1 Steath

Soldiers,Gunners,Knifers are easy to kill. But for Snipers its a different story.
For snipers u need to sneak up behind them and kill with ur Pistol close range
For Soldiers u have to damage them aleast 100 hp before they use blast strike then u can use Pistol or Grenade Luncher to kill them
For Gunners In the mid of combat right with they are to use Leg it or Hero shield. You will need to damage them with ur knife Then ur pistol right when they start to keep ur distance If ur Good in Dodge then yes u will surive but if u cant dodge or cant kill fast then u will lose to a Gunner
With this Fighting Style u Kill any Class with Full Hp or Half Hp
This Fighting Method is only for lvl 20 and above
