OFFICIAL “TUTORIAL VIDEO” CALL OUT!

ENTRIES
HEROES! This is a special call out to all you video makers! Battlefield Heroes needs player tutorials AND FAST! This is not so much a contest, as it is a call out for your chance to help the community and get your work recognized. What’s needed?

VIDEO 1 / How to register, create a hero and download game.

VIDEO 2 / Using the game menu – Abilities, weapons, missions, store, friends list.

VIDEO 3 / Game guide A – Game mode, controls, beginners hints for each class

VIDEO 4 / Game guide B – Advanced game techniques.

COMPITITION REWLZ & DEADLINES
Required: Imagery from the game.

No limit on amount of entries - Make only ONE or TWO or ALL (Not required to make all four)

DEADLINE SEATTLE Will be on JUNE 24th @ 00:00 (Midnight) -7 GMT (10:00 PM Pacific DST).
DEADLINE STOCKHOLM Will be on JUNE 24th @ 10:00 (AM) +2 GMT (10:00 AM CEST).
DEADLINE PERTH Will be on JUNE 24th @16:00 +8 GMT (04:00PM WST).


VIDEO REWLZ & REQUIRED / REQUESTED ELEMENTS
Preferred: HIGH QUALITY in at least 1024 x 768.
Prefered: .MPEG4 or can be .AVI .MOV format
Required: Uploaded into secure hosting site
Preferred: To be between four and five minutes long.
Required: To NOT be longer than five minutes
Preferred: to use in game audio, can use downloadable .MP3 tracks from BFH homepage
- Please, do not use intensive music, like acid rock, punk rock, Goth or any extreme music or soundtracks from other licenced productions such as Star Wars, WoW, Transformers, etc ...
Required: Your video credits MUST be at the end of the video.
- Place finished video links ONLY, in this thread.
- Please place WORK IN PROGRESS and commentary discussions in this thread;

VOTING
At the end of the contest period Winners will be chosen and contacted by email, and given a personal (temporary) login to a BFH ftp server. There, they will be asked to upload their winning videos.


PRIZES
The movies that get accepted will be used OFFICIALLY on the Battlefield Heroes website for every player to see and use. Each video that gets accepted for use on the website will also receive two item redemption codes as well as a place in the BFH Hall of Fame.


FINE PRINT
- All listed times are subject to change should a system crash, major update or unplanned system maintenance occurs. Should there be a major interruption, the contest MAY continue when the system returns and all lost time will be extended.
- Hall of Fame will be discussed at a later time

Two item codes, though they haven't been verified to me yet, I believe they will be the same as the Postcard Contest, the Red Open Jacket for Nats and the blue open coat for Royals ... Don't quote me until I get that verified (I'll update the announcement when I know)

could u post a picture of the items? i mean just saying the name doesn't really tell much xD, if its looks cool and others know about it than i bet more players would do the contest

I guess making it in H.264 Codec, .Mov and upload it to Vimeo, where you can DL it is okay? I mean, .Avi is overrated.
