36 health is a good number, this means you can get 2 heals for a commando, 3 for killing a soldier and 4 for killing a gunner. At lvl 5, I think 12 is a good number. a nice idea
1-it should be a nice skill to help your team(hit them with pb so they cant use ability >easy to kill)
2-a nice ability to kill chickens that backpedal and spam mlg-mg-etc..
3-a nice nerf for snipers -nice nerf for "i kiil all" gunners-nice nerf for immortal soldier groups
4-it can change all the bfh memory

I think knifing is underpowered at the highest of high level servers, where you're mainly fighting level 30's.

Any decent Gunner who knows how to use an RPG or a Soldier with a high level Blasting Strike can shut down a knifer quite easily, combine that with abilities like Kegs, Burning Bullets and Mark Target from enemy Mandos, and being a knifer that is actually useful to your team is quite a mountain to climb.

I'm all for a knife buff.

To others DEVS and HATE:
A very very simple solution to Knifing unbalanced at higher levels:

Damage and ROF is decent but the range is the only problem:

Increase range for Knifing with about 15-25%. This should be more then enough for knifers to do well high lvl games.
