Hello Heroes,

On Thursday 13th September @ 06:00 UTC we will be performing extended maintenance on one of our back end services. This will involve the game and website being offline for an extended period of time. As servers will be down for a longer than usual this notice is here to provide you with some information beforehand.

This update will take approximately 5 hours to complete and during this time both the game and website will be offline. Due to the nature of this update we cannot confirm an exact duration and there may be some delays… or we may finish early, who knows. Regardless we will keep you up to date throughout and let you know how things are going.

The update we will be performing will be on one of our backend services that track and store hero data ranging from your faction and hair do, to the kills, levels and everything else you see on your hero profile. With so many heroes joining the fight each and every day it’s time for us to move this info over to a new platform.

For the most part it is likely that you will not notice any changes, however when we make this change there will be a couple of things to note.

We will need to clear the weekly leaderboards. Don’t worry though, once the update is complete the stats will start being collected again as usual and we will have our weekly champions again.
We will also need to reset the global leaderboards, but fear not. Your hundreds of hours of heroic activities are not lost. You simply need to log in and play a round of BFH for you to show up on the leaderboard again as normal.
We will need to reset all daily mission activity. What this means is that if you have completed a daily mission with a specific hero you profile will no longer display this mission as complete. You will still keep all of your earned points but you will need to complete them again for them to display as completed on your profile.

On another note, after this update, daily missions can now be completed by each hero you have per day, rather than just once per day for all of your heroes.
