Laser still viable as primary?

I've heard it's been nerfed, but I was considering getting it on my Gunner along with DF (shame) to stomp everyone, but is the Eraser Ray still viable as a primary?

If so what secondary? PP? AS? LR MG? SR MG? Robot MG? Alt-Fire MG? LR SG? SR SG? Note that at longish range I might be getting a DF, no shame there because I vowed never to camp as Gunner

You can use any weapon as primary weapon...some are just not as good as others.

If omega beamer got nerfed, it didn't change much because I've still seen a few people killing me within 3 seconds with it...

Mhm, thanks. Just saw 2 other threads. But if I used the laser as a primary and DF as explosive (shame) what should I use as a secondary?

With ff5 that gun rocks, you can get even decent hits on long range and its still an "OK" SR weapon. actually kill a lot of ppl that use the cheeser with it....

and since u have ff5 anyway it makes sense :> and you have unlimited ammo whatever happens.

For a good dmg spike build i´d choose the assault shotty... but then again if the laser is out u r F*cked

Lol, I camp 1 every 15 rounds as Soldier. And that's for about 1/4 of that particular game.

Robot MG is a piece of crap. It gives you 70% of the cheeser and 70% of an LR MG. But it´s just not worth using it since the damage output is way lower than with one of the stated weapons... just focus on the LR MG or the sr if you wanna go AOD

From what the polish guys have said ( that t-rex guy) The Sr mg makes the most suitable secondary wep for the eraser ray. I can't give you my opinion on this since i haven't used it.

I like using it with sr-shotgun, it is like beta-gunner, but better...
But most of all, it is one of the best and funniest fun-builds I had with gunner

Honestly, the SRMG + Laser MG are a dream combo. You really have nothing to fight at long ranges, (who cares, really, that's not what a Gunner is for), but you will be a POWERHOUSE at close-mid ranges. You have the Laser MG to shred apart mid-range targets, and for all the others who try to get in your face, you have your Cheeser/Backscratcher to shred them apart with.

yeh it's true, I used it for a while and to be honest noone could really beat me at close-mid range and with FF 5 I could outheal a lot of weapons at long range with laser tbh, was so freakin easy that's why I stopped it, not fun at all. Hope EAsy will nerf lasers someday.
