[question] Whats needed to make a good video/montage/etc

So what are the programs needed to make a good video. I already know fraps is necessary and i can record easily with no lag. But what else do i need, i heard some friends say "rendering" or something? Any tips????

Rendering is making it HD, removing blackbars, setting fps etc.
To do that you need Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects.
These are not free softwares.. but hey,


oh yeah. and a montage needs good editing ofcourse. To edit you also need these softwares.

The best thing you can have in a montage is originality, people want to see somthing new and if they like that new thing you might get a VotW.
