What is this all about?
This guide will show you how to put you signatures in rotation. Which means that each 2 minutes or so, your image in your signature will change to another image. It's totally random what image it changes to, but you can still control it. Today i will show you how.

What you will need:
  • Two signatures or more
  • An internet connection
  • The ability to read
  • A potato

The guide
The first step is to get your signatures ready, in this guide i will use my collection of animal signatures as examples;

[Image: sweetw.png] [Image: ratmc.png] [Image: monkeyfn.png]
[Image: kittysu.png] [Image: kittyd.png] [Image: dogy.png]
Now that you have your images, you want to upload them to an image hosting website.If you already know how to upload pictures, just skip this step. When uploading pictures, I usually use ImageShack or TinyPic. In this guide I will use ImageShack.

How to upload a picture to ImageShack
Before even doing anything, please register an account at ImageShack. Otherwise this won't work.

Step (1)
[Image: step1yl.png]
Go to www.ImageShack.us, you will se a grey button, which says 'Browse', click that.

Step (2)
[Image: step2kl.png]
Now select the pictures you want to upload, and click open.

Step (3)
[Image: step3s.png]
Click the big blue 'Upload now' button.

Step (4)
[Image: step4rt.png]
If you see all your pictures like i do here, your upload was successful.

SignAvatar
Now you need to go to www.SignAvatar.com. This is where the 'tricky' part comes.

How to get your pictures in rotation
First of all, you need to register an account at www.SignAvatar.com. Next just follow theese steps below.

Step(1)
[Image: step5e.png]
Click 'Add Sigs'.

Step(2)
[Image: step6k.png]
Go to ImageShack again, find the pictures you want to rotate in your signature, click the little '(i)' in the top left corner, and copy the 'direct links'.

Step(3)
[Image: step7b.png]
Now paste the URL's of your pictures in to SignAvatar, you can add 3 at a time, just repeat the process if you have more than 3.

Step(4)
[Image: step8h.png]
When you are done adding signatures, click on 'Edit Sigs'. Then copy the 'Your URL' link, and paste it into your signature with an [IMG] tag in front of it, and an [/IMG] tag behind it;
Code:
[IMG]http://www.yoursignatureurlhere.com[/IMG]

And that is everything you need to know about rotating signatures. If you find any typos, feel free to make a post about it. Thanks for reading, see you on the battlefield Wink

If the title says '' [Tutorial] How to put signatures in rotation ''
Shouldn't it technically be in the Tutorials, Guides and Strategies section ;)?

It should, but you can't post in that subforum anymore. The only way you can get a tutorial in there is by putting it in the "newcomers" section, and then ask the moderators to move it. I tried to email them but they never moved it, so i reposted it here instead Wink By the way;

Hope that was answer enough Tongue
