Shotgun-Pistol Mission Bug

Not all kills with the Coen's Combined Crusher or Barrie's Barrel-O-Mania count for the new challenge missions. It seems that it might be counting kills from the pistol part but not from the shotgun part. I hope this can be fixed?

It used to be that the shotgun-pistols couldn't be used for any missions and then finally it was fixed so they would respectively count for shotgun or pistol missions depending on which functionality was used. Maybe that fix makes it hard to combine the two for the new missions?
