Sensitivity talk as far as I know is quite useless without involving windows/mousedriver sensitivity. There's mouse DPI, windows/mouse specific driver-sensitivity AND game sensitivity, so it all depends. I consider my aim quite decent and in my opinion: If you can turn around 180 degrees with a good sweep on your mouse, while the wrist is still resting on the desk/pad, you have a good all-purpose sensitivity. Low enough for accurate 'relaxed' aiming, high enough for 180 degree turns (knifers etc.). It's always done great here in Quakeworld, Unreal Tournament, Painkiller and any shooter.
It's up to you though. There's also people with much lower sens doing great and people with a bit higher sens doing fine too. It's very personal. Fact: You can't set it very low, because then you won't be able to follow an enemy with leg-it that's running around you. Can't have that. For abilities, ofcourse leg-it 5 so you can practice aim at high speed. This is the hardest way to learn it and the most efficient way. Also get frenzy 5 to minimize the spread of the weapon so you can more easily see when you hit/miss a lot due to your own succes/failure. Also use a ton of rocketlauncher shots to practice your slow-projectile-aim. You need to aim in front of the target when you shoot it with slow projectiles (same with airplanes and normal weapons). With the rocketlauncher this is more obvious. A succesful gunner loves to pingpong with the enemy by shooting them in the air a lot. Also get 2/5 keg, just for the slow effect and because keg is the slowest projectile to aim with. Know when to aim ahead and how high to throw. The rest of the abilities (shield/eat-nades) don't matter much for aim practice so pick whatever works for you there. ALSO I'd recommend to play a soldier with closerange SMG + longrange pistol (super/11 bullets version). Longrange pistol is (of the gunner+soldier) the most accuracy-rewarding/scaling weapon in the game. Soldiers with good longrange pistol aim can do a ton of damage-per-second, crush almost anything from long, midlong and often even midrange. Get your longrange-pistol-aim up to +40% and get ready to be called a hacker in many games, by any class. Learning to aim with the longrange pistol imo is the best way to get solid aim-training that you can apply to any class. |

There's no "best build". It's just BS from close minded people. There's a few builds that can all do great in the hands of a player that adapts well to his build.
