What is the best weapon for soldier?

Depends on your playstyle and on what range you´re talking about.
In short & mid range, I´d go for short range smg, for long range, long range pistol.

For a great all-rounder class, try the M16-203 and a long-range pistol like the Barrie's barrel-o-mania which has a backup shotgun on it. For explosives, use the M32 MGL, it can lay down six explosives in a really short time, and contact with an enemy blows them up instantly.

Don't teach him to be an mgl spammer! Get the grenade, SR SMG (robo smg or battle rifle r ok) and the VLRP.
