dawnguard is by the looks of it, and judging by the opinions of the journalists who played it, not any better then an average fan-made mod. so if you have the pc version there is no point in buying this, because you can get better stuff for free.

That's the problem when you release such powerfull modding tools and try to make DLCs.

Edit: I can see som nice flintlock pistol mods being made after this tho

But still, there's nothing wrong with official content. This probably isn't the case with Dawnguard, but I doubt you'd see something as grandiose as the Shivering Isles from the Mod community.
