Howdy All
Some of you have noticed that some abilities have been adjusted in this latest patch. These changes were meant for a later release, but a version error caused them to be released early; and so the change details were not in the patch notes......the details of the changes are here:

-- Combat Medicine no longer interrupts other abilities

-- Grenade spam changed so that the max damage radius for each grenade is now 80% of the explosion radius. Up from 20%.

-- Grenade spam changed to reduce the delay between activation and throw.

-- I Eats Grenades changes
Effect Radius 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
Duration 3 / 5 / 7 / 9 / 11
Reload Time 30 / 27 / 24 / 21 / 18

-- Explosive Keg changes
Max damage radius increased from 20% of expl radius to 50%
Damage growth reduced from 30 - 50 down to 25-45
Speed reduction removed from level 1
Speed reduction duration reduced to 2 / 2 / 3 / 3 seconds for leels 2-5
Explosion Radius reduced for levels 1 - 3. Smaller visual effect added to reflect new size.

Apologies for not including these notes in the patch announcement. I look forward to feedback, constructive or otherwise.....

Were these the 'summer tweaks' you mentioned?
I'll be more than happy to test them out; especially CM not interrupting 6S anymore. Big Grin
GS seemed to have got quite a buff there...

...So that explains why I couldn't slow them royals down with my keg. No speed reduction at level 1 :O


Also, the long await Soldier buff arrived with a gunner nerf? This is the best day of BFH's history.

IEG has a 7 second break in a clanwar with 2 gunners
Grenade spam is ultra-overpowered now
and interruption of combat medicine was the best way to kill a soldier
gosh how stupid -.-

Update: You seriously hate gunners right, buffing the soldier's GS. Nerfing the gunner's keg and nullify the use of IEG. Please make a balanced choise next time 8m radius is now 3m radius. IEG duration is from 10secs to 3secs wich is way too short for ballistic tank camping widget abusing freeloaders from the daily claw.

My opinion now is the the gunners back in the CB are now slightly stronger, the soldiers even more powerfull and the mandos slighly weaker (but still strong).

It's you choice if you want to make CampField Cowards instead of BattleField Heroes. But i'm totally disagreeing you with how you threath the gunner like s*** now.

now df and mgl spammers became op and knifers have a great chance to kill gunner with lvl 1 keg.

Thanks for posting, these changes were needed. I love the smaller explosion radius effects on the keg now by the way.
