Why was my thread deleted when I didn't break any rules and provided clear evidence?
Who was it and do you have some sort of personal grudge against me? Thanks! ![]() |

Reports of abuse have no place on this forum and will be removed.
Don't like a server? Go play on another one. |

Oh?
Okay, I will buy a server and statpad and ban everyone who I want.. Thanks for letting me know that the rules are there just for show and have no real meaning whatsoever. ![]() |

Yes because that will solve everything and karma will just bite you in the butt and get you banned rather than the actual idiots that should be banned ¬_¬ As RIC0H mentioned above - Reports of server admin abuse have no place on this forum and will be removed since they are violating the forum rules such as naming and shaming. Most of these threads will lead into a huge flame war anyways. Nobody is able to help you if you post them in here nor we can do anything in order to resolve your issue. The place where you have to report this is at the providers page, either their support or forum

To be honest I was hoping somebody could help me determine the server's provider.
I don't think it's Multiplay since they require their name in server's name (not 100% sure) I know the server's located in Germany.. Should I just ask about it from providers directly? Any other ideas? ![]() |

One does not have to be a rocket scientist to understand why frustrated people come to this section to report servers. Unfair treatment is never pleasant and especially not if you get this feeling of powerlessness which you are bound to get when facing admin abuse on BFH servers. People head for the forums hoping that the people who are not powerless will actually do something. A response like "Don't like it? Go elsewhere" will undoubtly piss the users off even more.
Oh well, you probably don't care the least. On to something useful: Quote:To be honest I was hoping somebody could help me determine the server's provider.I have this routine when I play BFH where I bookmark the server on which I play immediately after joining it and when I am done playing there I delete it again to keep my bookmark list nice and tidy. Should the unthinkable happen that i get banned i use something called Wireshark which is a packet sniffer. In short terms Wireshark will save all the data that you recieve and/or send on a network device that you select. Shortcut CTRL+I and press Start next to the device you are currently using. Go refresh your bookmarks in the client and lots of packets should be caught. It can be tricky to find, but in one of them there will be all sorts of data about the server you are trying to determine the owner/IP of. An example: Quote:597 30.286664 192.168.2.104 62.104.177.245 UDP 78 Source port: 61166 Destination port: 18567The first line of the quote is not actual data from the packet but something the program exported as well. The green numbers make up my local IP and the red numbers the server (also seen later in the actual data with the server-name). The packet also contains the actual server provider name (the pink line). There you go You just need to always bookmark the servers you play on and then delete them when done playing if nothing unfair happens.
