Here is an account of what happened to me when I joined a friend who had a team of low levels.

It was just any other game. Right? Except it was with another friend.
The world appeared before me. Perilous Port Day, just a beautiful map that could only be contested by the world of Sunset Showdown. Its just those sunsets, just seeing them makes me love the sky.

The game began normally. I just started off near the fountain, nothing was out of place, it was just the same old map. The sounds of gunfire and explosions were in the distance, near the center of the map, as I started to walk towards them.

Going up the stairs I see an enemy soldier walk towards our flag, I fire at him. When the rounds hit he begins panic. He begins shooting randomly in different directions, yet still continued towards our flag.
Gone in an instant.

Something wasn't right. He was a soldier, hasn't he been in battles before? I felt some pity for the poor guy who didn't see me coming. But it was war, what could I do? I reached the ship and for the next few minutes I fought off several other soldiers who acted in a similar manner. Eventually, the gunshots were silent and it seemed that they stopped advancing toward the ship

I continued on my path and was nearly to the National's first flag when I hear the all-too familiar swoosh of a commando's stealth going off. I've faced them before so I didn't panic. I turned around and saw a nearly hidden commando, preparing to stab, walk right towards me.
I took a shot at him to scare him away, because most of them are smart enough to run and come at me later.

Yet this one didn't. He continued towards me, probably thinking I didn't notice him, and then began to strike. I easily shoved him away and shot him. He didn't even attempt to run. He just kept stabbing no matter how hopelessly far away he was from his target.

It didn't feel like courage, they didn't attack me because they were brave. When they both died,
it felt more like stubbornness or inexperience.

I ignored them, and continued on my path up to their flag. As I stood there alone, I waited for more of them to launch an attack, maybe flanking me. Yet nothing came.

A sudden realization came to me. They had quit. No one left on either sides. There was not one person. I was alone. The mission was done. We had succeeded.

Yet it felt like a hollow victory.
Something was wrong.

Well, here are the details on what really happened.
So I decided to join a person on my friends list who was on the other team.
I was mainly preoccupied with the friend, who was a really tough challenge (pretty tough) ,
but I would slaughter most of his allies if they even came close. In the middle of the game, he had to leave. With only his remaining allies left to fend for themselves.
It was easy. Too easy, not really that much fun, yet I stayed just show I could finish the round.
By the end of that one round, both teams had left. I felt really ashamed after leaving.

Please comment on how I could improve my writing!
