Average Rank

My soldier JUST turned level 15 and I was wondering what rank is average for a SOLDIER who JUST turned level 15?

Depends on what weapons you use, different weapons will rank up faster.

e.g My level 16 soldier has only used shottys, and hence has a rank far, far higher than you would normally see on a level 16 soldier.

I'll bet you get called noob basher and asked to leave everytime you join a game with those at a similar level. My level 24 soldier (rank VIII) has a much lower rank than your level 16 guy.

I guess he uses lr and sr shotty. A very powerful, if good with it, build. I personally suck with it, cause I am really bad at shotty aiming.

The official response is wrong.


Snipers rank up slower than everyone else.

Shotgun users rank up faster than everyone else.

Rank seems to be based more on HITS rather than DAMAGE.


(Also, ranks are stupid... and i'm not just saying that because half my guys hit 30 before ranks were implemented.)

I agree with this. My opinion is that if they now are to use ranks, they could at least have used funny ranks instead of these unoriginal tryhard-looking ones.
