weapons help

ive got a level 6 commando with the machete and basic pistol and sniper rifle
I thought to use pistol and knife witch suits me apart from having short range
any ideas on good weapon combos. (no battlefunds please)huh:

3 stealth and 1 elixir. Do not use machete. Use either your knife or pistol(or both). Or Knife/Pistol and Sniper

Edit: If you have machete permanent then it would be a better option than default knife
