So because of the 25% discount and 10k funds I decided to buy the one thing I still really wanted... the mkII set. I bought 11 drops after getting the full set. Is this considered lucky?

No, that's pretty average luck.

Yeah... I accidently bought a cosmic one and got the purple galactic body which you can see crossed out, was kinda of bummered because I'm not a huge fan of the space suits. Ah well, t'was only 749 funds.

I wanted the helmet. Got everything besides that in like 10 drops. 30 more drops no helmet. Then I realized how ridiculous it was that I spent that much for one item and gave up.

This is what made me think I was pretty lucky... I actually got the head on the first go and from what I've heard people have bought 100 of the drops and didn't get it, leading me to make this thread.

To ask the same question as the fellow above:

Why would you use drops to buy an outfit? WHy not just BUY the whole outfit at once? It would seem to be cheaper that wayr?

A few supply drops is cheaper than the Hot Deals stuff Tongue

It's gambling, you'll understand if you think about it.

It is pretty lucky. I got the whole set in 11 drops too Smile

I've heard that people have bought 30+ and still not got a part.

Store outfit = MKI
Drops outfit = MKII

From what I've seen from threads it seems that if you get the super rare part before most of the other stuff you get the entire set easily. But then if you get everything else and not the rare part like the head then it is widget city. Just what I have noticed from a few people including myself.

No you can't get the whole set, the pieces in the supply drop are different to the parts in the store.

Assuming the head is the rarest piece, it is regardless wether you get it first or last because it means that the other parts are far more common. Its like spinning a normal dice and rolling the same number twice or three times in a row, eventually if you spin enough to even it out.
