Most soldiers use BS when you get close as a gunner. Just watch carefully and try to jump when he uses bs. This way you'll only be sent up so you won't take damage from walls and you are still close to the soldier.

You've effectively avoided his bs.

All I can say is about jeeps, when they blast, exit it and your momentum will reset, making you just land on the ground safe.

This can be wel lused by soldiers, that when you dodge the BS, you can BS them.

When they are about to BS you hide behind an obstacle. In VV for example near the Roadblock there are trees which can be good cover Smile .

Oblivion is correct. Damage from blasting strike it caused by hitting objects, so jumping up will send you pretty much straight up into the safe air and relatively close. This also applies well for mandos trying to knife.

The main thing you need to remember is to run TOWARDS the soldier and jump. Running away from the soldier is the worst thing you can do, since it adds to the speed of the blast.

If you're slow on the draw you can always activate shield and then leg it away to some cover Tongue.

Best way to resist BS? Tell a friendly mando to knife rush him...after the soldier blasts him to kingdom come, you charge!

when you know, that you will crush into an obstacle (small streets in VV or town in BB for example), jump and activate HS. If you hit something, HS absorb much damage, if you dont get pushed agaisnt something, HS will protect you against LRP and SMG for a short time. SO you can decide to fight back or to hide and wait for a better opportunity

As a mando, you are basically dead when you fly straight upwards, as the soldier gets the time to shoot you Wink Trying to hide behind objects or anticipate and choose the right direction to get blown in might be a better idea. :idea:ORIdea just wait for the soldier to use his BS and try to kill him in those 10 defenseless seconds.
