Lol, good luck finding a full CB team.
For a fun-filled gathering, we got 9/10 CB members up for it, I'm not so sure you'll find enough CB members wanting a competitive match though.

There are NOT hardcore match maps. If the teams actually want to play srsly it will be an hour long camp fest each round (I mean literally 60min+ per round I've seen it before).

VV, CC and MM sound fine.. BB to balance it out for vehicle "pros" I guess but it really isn't needed. Remember the 3rd BB of the last match? CB got their game together and just stood behind the rock thus making us camp @ town, it could've gone on forever if we wanted to play srs

Exactly this, maps like VV and CC needs atleast some tactic and wont end in a campfest.
I think you should try to clear out if everyone in the OB and CB haz skype/ts or whatever.

True. I like BB because it has vehicles and no map bonus, but it can get campy. I said RR just for some variety, but it can get a little campy too (although not as bad as BB's rock/town standoff).

I would like to see a vehicle map. What do you think about Seaside Skirmish? It gets a lot of hate, but it doesn't really have any big camping spots. I would say WW, except it has all those cap points and bonuses. SS2 is out. Looks like it's pretty much BB or Seaside to me. I'm going to change it to Seaside for now, but it can be changed again if we need to.

I'll change RR to VV, for now. Even though RR isn't that campy, it's probably better to have the least campy maps possible. Any other infantry maps without big camp spots?

Damn you're right... hardly any CB's yet. They must still be in bed nursing hangovers, from drowning their match loss in alcohol last night.

As for making this hardcore but not too much: VV and/or CC should be the infantry maps, if we really must play a vehicle map then BB is our best choice and MM should be the tiebraker cause it's the most balanced map. RR no because it's campy and favors royals too much.

TS shouldn't be allowed just for the fun factor. As already said, using TS would make this too much as a real CW.

It should be 6v6, no mandos cause if spectators are going to be mandos it can easily happen they will be killed, plus playing mandos using MT could be wasted on marking the spectator. Plus, no mando is more fun imo.
So 3g, 3s is the way to go.

Ping limit, well, I hope there isn't many players left playing on a toaster (messi) and 200-ish is still acceptable and doesn't slow down the whole server that much.

If OB does not get to play nats I will host an event at the exact same time on my server, with OB playing nats.

You know... i guess a vehicle map isn't really necessary. Maybe we should just do infantry maps... and make it VV and CC, with RR as tiebreaker? (not sure how i feel about MM, because of the campiness of that game mode.)

Hmmm... no mandos, eh? Yeah, they can be pretty annoying during matches like these.

I'd like to hear more opinions from the players about whether or not mandos should be banned. Personally i think im still ok with 1 mando... but i could go either way.

I would rather play as a nat as well... but i chose the factions randomly... and i feel that's the fairest way to handle it. All the OB slots are filled, anyway.

Everyone should actually be skilled if it was "hardcore."


As for map choices, if we're using vehicles we have to limit the tank/plane use (b/c frankly that guy spamming planes the 1st round of BB was not that fun).

And personally, I'd still rather play as a National, but hell I guess I can dust off my commando.
