Hey, I tried to put my quality at "high" to take a mugshot, then;
- I closed the window (to make the quality high) - I re-oppened it. - A window appeared saying the computer video can't memorize the image. I know this was caused by the fact that it can't show the high quality on the window, but I'm wondering is there a way I could change the quality while not being on the BFH window? And, would it work if I go change my quality on a better computer? If yes, I'll try to do this, but I'd rather have a "not on BFH window" solution. Thanks. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You can change the settings outside of the game by manually editing the Video.con file, but I should warn you that if you set the settings to high, the game will not launch, so be sure to either write down your old settings, or create a backup copy of the file before making changes.
Look for it here. XP: C:/Documents and Settings/(Your User Name)/My Documents/Battlefield Heroes/Video.con Vista or 7: C:/Users/(Your User Name)/Documents/Battlefield Heroes/Video.con Right click on it and choose open the file with notepad. Change the resolution inside this file by editing the resolution after VideoSettings.setResolution to (Your Resolution)@60Hz You can change the quality to by editing the number after VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme: 0, super low 1, low 2, medium 3, high Good Luck S |

Well explained, thank you! Worked perfectly. I changed the '3' to a '0' after VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme ![]() ![]() ![]() |
