PunkBusted? PunkBuster Troubleshooting

i did what you said and it worked until i got to the downloading the newest version of punkbuster part. it said it couldnt convert my file to a new spot.

Ok this punkbuster kick 22 is getting absolutely ridiculous. I have tried every suggestion ive seen, ive updated pb ( i think acronym is pain in the butt ) opened ports etc etc etc and 2 -3 minutes in Kicked ! FFS is there a fix for this ??????

And whats even sadder about the whole situation is you get in a game with a aimbotter and he doesnt get kicked , roflmao.

why do we have punkbuster it fails so bad like half the people are going to walk away and not play i get 22 as well and people still hack i even know people that hack and it works fine with out all this reinstall****

I had this problem too and I ran Firefox as administrator, reinstal PB manually (launch \pb\pbsvc.exe) and restart my computer.
The game didn't work before restarting!! And now it works fine!!!!

Before it was the Punkbuster couldnt communicate error and now i got the "22" as well. I'm so tired of punkbuster...f*@k punkbuster. I havent been able to play any of the other battlefield games cause of punkbuster also. like i said f*@k punkbuster.

I think punkbuster is intended as a placebo, ya know to make people think there is anti hack. Its absolutely ridiculous, continuously freezing me up and disconnecting me. It is seriously beginning to make me have ill feelings toward a game i like.

PunkBuster was the absolute worst choice these guys made with Battlefield Heroes. What does it do? Kick legit players?? Sounds like a great anti-hack program. When has PunkBuster ever worked well? I cannot think of a time when it has worked without major flaws. I get (22) all the time! And I tried manually updating it. I messed me up worse than before! Now I can't even login.
I am re-installing the entire game right now. I mean, sure this is a beta but come on... How long has it been in beta? a year? Thats getting to be a bit ridiculous. These guys gotta pull it together before they loose a lot of their customers.

I have fixed my game. I had the Punkbuster issue kicking me every so often. I uninstalled BFHeroes completely and reinstalled and walaaa game is running. Punkbuster is definitely slowing the game down though. Not quite sure how to fix that. Maybe the EA guy's can figure that one out. Tanks lag like crazy

I did all I had to do: reinstalled BFH; reinstalled PB restarted my computer but nothing worked, still this error message.
