Very well. Then I'll make it easy for you. There is no reason. You're just complaining that they did something (even if that something is more or less equal to nothing) to the Soldier class. The answer should be "no". It also happened very rarely (with the exception of multi-blasts and height advantage), so it isn't really noticeable (yet removes one highly annoying/frustrating feature of the game).

Regarding your statement about balance and the player experience: the developers have said that there will (or rather, should) be no one-shot/kill weapons in the game. The same can be applied to abilities (see my other point about Troop Traps and RPG to avoid being overly predictable in your future reply).

If I missed something, feel free to point me in the relevant direction in stead of telling me to go a few pages back, as I have already read that part of this thread.

You can barely scratch an opponent over 75% HP, so that basically means you need to do 30 damage to enemy soldiers and gunners and 20 to mandos before getting the good 'ole BS insta kill. If you can't use your gun to the point where you can't fire off 3 accurate shots, then please GTFO.

I play both classes equally (gunner and soldier) and i want both to be equally balanced.

So the falling "bug" is actually intentional? Damn that sucks. If only there was a better way to take care of that issue.

Speaking of bugs, HS doesn't activate while you're parachuting.

The fix happened, yes I'm calling it a fix and not a nerf. You'll adapt as everyone has in the past.
