Thoughts? How viable is it? How should you play it?

I've seen ElectrifiED using it a while back, and he was doing very well with it, but then and again it's Elec we're talking about.

Thinking about trying it, since the Super/Uber default SG is 50% off in today's DotD.

I used it on an alt a while back, did decently well but you can use pretty much anything well against low-levels.

I'd rather stick with sr/lr, although sr/mr might work. I'd probably play it how I play everything, rushing blindly foward all the time Tongue

From others, I figured out that you play SR/LR a bit similar to dual LR's, switching in bursts of damage from the LR in between several SR shots.

However, the SR has a much faster RoF than the default shotty, so...

I don't really like the MR shotgun, but it's more reliable than the SR shotgun.
You could dual it aswell, you'd kind of get the RoF of a SR shotgun and the damage output of a MR shotgun, which might be pretty powerful. But you'll still get outdamaged by dual LR sg'ers or LR+SR SG.
You can probably make it work with a lot of practice, but I wouldn't go for it.

I tried this a while ago on my alt acc, it worked alright but you sorta need the uber mr sg to do well, which is just a waste of money. I would just go with the more regular builds like sr/lr sg etc.

ElectrifiED ripped me to shreds today with the default short range shottie (I think, either that or it was the medium range) and long range shottie, so I seems like a good setup if you have the right abilities. Don't think it works too well with soliders, though.

The only problem I see with this is that the MRSG's RoF isn't too high, so you'll be out-DPS'd by the SRMG, whereas you have an advantage with the SRSG at really close range.

But the MRSG + LRSG offers a more diverse range- the MRSG can sub for the SRSG, and though you may get out DPS'd in short range combat, you have the LRSG which, from what I have seen, shoots ~35s, no matter the range.

Honestly, SR/LR seems to beat it out. The LR covers pretty much every range save close range, while the SR covers close range. I personally think the SRSG beats out the MR, but I'll probably try it to make sure.
