Why i prefer royals:

1.ive always said the nat outfits are bland grey/black trenchcoat boringness.

2.Played Nat for the first year or so, then decided that winning most the time without even trying was boring and i wanted a little challenge, and ive always been a fan of the under dog, so i swapped to royals.

3.Didnt your parents ever teach you that the good guys always win in the end?

LOL no, saving your son does not redeem you for killing thousands/millions of people. thats like saying if hitler saved his son it would make him a good guy.

Imho royals have more epic emotions, while nats wardrobe is way better compared.. i agree that "Super Mario, Link and Skyrim" is something i'd like to see on nats, but considering that almost every set looks better on us.. i think royals diserve some love too.

Probably the only stat that means anything in this game is the k/d, but even that gets stat padded so badly.. x) Nationals have better current/overall stats anyway and i think the majority of the players are playing nats atm. I've noticed some of my buddys play royal mandos at times only cuz they get spawn trapped 24/7 and they don't need to run fare in case they die... but seriously, is it just me or does it feel like royals lose all the time? I've meet some pretty good royal players that don't even care about the objective anymore.. for them it's a win if they have a nice score or k/d.

you could say roys are more "manly".
if you compare the "i need a ride", "i need a medic", or all the other emotes which are basically the same on both sides, the national one always has some "not-so-straight" touch. like waving with just the wrist instead of the whole arm.
and roys have an unlimited amount of awesome outfits to make, while there are only a few really cool ones for the nats. that's why 50% of tall nats look like this:
