The Robots have arrived!

Dr.Doktor and his team have been hard at work seeking to explore the vast reaches of space in an effort to expand honor of the National Federation. They may have won the gold medal for cycling at the Olympics but Royals are mocking them at every turn. The Nationals are now determined to prove they are the better faction once and for all. However a lack of trained soldiers or rather, them being occupied at the moment after being shot into space using the flawed one rope system, has led to desperation.

While all of the heroes are fighting on the battlefield, Dr.Doktor is left without any *cough* willing volunteers. In an effort to combat this lack of resources, he has created a robotic army to stand in their place so he can use more battle hardened heroes in his experiments.

Of course, the Royal Scientific Corps can't just stand by and be outdone by the Nationals so they have created their own and in an effort to create the perfect soldier both factions have created improved "Mark II" models which will be available soon in all new supply drops.

During the development of these new robots both Dr.Doktor and The Inventor found that it was simply easier to strap a rotating machine gun on the end of a mechanical limb than to teach a robot to hold a gun and fire it... so that's exactly what they did. However when they saw the popularity of these new weapons amongst the living heroes, they made a "Do-It-Yourself Gun Grafting Kit" so if you want to mount one upon your fleshy person you can.

NEW WIDGETS!

After the Royals stole several "Mark I" robots to start building their own they discovered they were a touch on the volatile side, often blowing a fuse and sending them into a mad dash ending in a wonderful yet powerful explosion. Due to the sturdiness of the robots though they remained in tact and simply needed to be rebooted. This proved as much of a useful tool as it was a disaster... however, the National scientists caught wind of this feature and intentionally created an explosive device that the Destroyer Drones can use in the thick of battle for a devastating surprise.

NEW POCKET TANKS!

After the astounding success of Pocket Jeeps a select group of National scientists have been hard at work on developing the next step in mid battle efficient transportation. Something with weapons that you can drop almost anywhere... unfortunately spawning a big old plane and being able to take off is tricky, though the construction company working on the rebuilding the lab should be kept busy for a while.

But with those disasters out of the way the team were set on developing pocket tanks... just make sure to stand back when you get out the tank... because... well lets just say that one of their test subject is enjoying his new set of Destroyer Drone legs.

NEW SUPPLY DROPS!

Dr.Doktor and The Inventor have both been working on second versions of their robot creations know as the "Mark II" models seeking to work out the bugs and make them more deadly. After sabotaging each others projects and stealing some of the parts being used in these experiments they have hidden away the remaining parts in Supply Drops to keep them safe. But... both Dr.Doktor and The Inventor are not very good at keeping track of their work as they tend to get wrapped up in various different crazy projects, so it may take a while for these Supply Drops to be found.

We hear that The Inventor is creating a machine that bakes a pie to perfection in exactly 3.14 seconds.

NEW EMOTES!

During the development phase while experimenting with AI for the work in progress "Mark I" models, Dr.Doktor stumbled upon a rather strange issue. The robots would break out in relentless fits of rage attacking anyone in their path, but after one rather gruesome attack one of the "Mark I" prototypes bumped into an old Gramophone which caused music to start playing. The robot immediately stopped and started busting some groovy moves, at which point Dr.Doktor immediately added a dance script for use as a safety mechanism. As luck would have it, the Royals never removed this part of the programming so the Royal robots can also pop their own moves in the heat of battle too.
