Why so many people hate drakes fire ??

A lot of guys say its nobish weapon, i said it works.
No weapons are nobish, in my opinion its about playstile.
When someon is only firing from DF and he is behind wall over all game, he is noob.
But there is nothing bad to fire two rounds before gunfight, or take out runing or covering enemies. what do yo think??

originally it had significantly higher blast radius and range, which made it a wep which gunners would just spamand get free(easy) kills and points. this made it incredibly overpowered and hence was called a noob weapon.

People hate it because they can't use it either because of their class, or because they can't afford it. Either way just try to ignore them. They wont be happy until every gun is nerfed to the point that you can't kill them with it. I get called a noob pretty much every time I kill anyone with any weapon. They just jelly cause they dead. It's just another gun, like any other gun they just don't like that you killed them with it. I've personally been kicked from servers for using the DF by an admin who was a gunner and was also using the DF himself, he just didn't like that I was better at it then him. Nothing in this game is "noob" it's part of the game. Tonics, DF's, or anything else people call noobish they just mad cause they dead and your still alive. The day that I log into this game and nobody calls someone else a noob is the day that the servers go down and nobody will ever play again, til then just ignore them trolls. Good Luck bud

The dragonzooka is one of those weapons were... people aren't calling its users "noobs" out of rage.

They're calling its users "noobs" because they're making a noob choice. The same as when they call a gunner a "noob" because he's carrying a MGL.

In my opinion, there're a lot of people, who noobbash or do "noob" things like that...but this people always cry about a weapon.
This is what I don't understand..especially this is just a game? I don't give a s**** about the weapon, which killed me.

with 3rd and 4th i agree, but comando can have UZI/tec9 or SRP too. And spaming is only for noobs, but there are many other ways how to use it. Then i think, a lot of players use it bad and this is reason why others hate it :-D

I posted this in another thread so I'll repeat myself.

Dont bother with it now, if you got it cheap then OK, but dont pay full price for it especially after the last two nerfs. What the haters dont understand is if used with your team it is very good for supressing incoming fire, allowing your team to attack. Unfortunately in order to do this you need to spam it, which is what the soldiers and gunners do with their guns anyway..... except this has a blast radius.

The other reason I chose it was not into rocket jumps so that aspect never fussed me, the major downside is its lack of Tank stopping ability it takes forever to kill a tank, but it was designed as anti infantry anyway, so on vehicle maps bring out the Tank buster...

Probably because royal gunners sometimes spam it while camping on the hill for easy points. Pisses people off sometimes.
