My native language is Norwegian, I know English fluently and I do understand Danish and Swedish.
I can try to teach the languages, and if you want someone to write Danish or Swedish to I can help there too. Though don't count on me being very specific with the grammar, though I will spot larger grammatical faults. xfire is crabspy ![]() Forum rules! Forum FAQs! How to report! Epic win! Signature rules! I just started to continue my (European) Portuguese lessons (read: a lil' course book I bought for €5,-). I'm just a beginner, so every help is welcome. I'm looking for European Portguese speakers who I can chat with on Xfire to have some simple conversations.

Jag kommer förmodligen låta dum, men vad är skillnaden mellan europeisk och sydamerikansk portugisiska?
(Translation is transparent in English below) I'll probably sound stupid but what's the difference between European and South American Portuguese? ![]() Artwork by Jess, IPlayBFH4Free, Jonzzon, JoZou and Moran647. All credit goes to them. |

They differ in grammar, vocabulairy and pronouncation, though the differences are not that big that they cannot communicate with eachother. But maybe a Portuguese speaker can clarify this answer, since I just started learning this language. |

One of my favorite welsh phrases, one I know by heart is "Dim dringo". Very useful....
Oh, also "Heddlu" and "araf" Ah, forgot "Dim parcio" I drive a lot in Wales! The problem is that you need to hear the language, as the spelling is misleading. The Welsh = English: dd = th f = v w = oow (only sometimes it doesn't) c is always a hard sound as in "k" ll is like the scottish "ch" in loch The welsh spelling for Kevin would probably be Cefin! ![]() |
