Without looking at your hero page, I seem to recall that you played an awful lot of BB. If that's the case then a 250+ SPM is pretty good.

@Oblivion - 300 is generally considered to be pretty good. Most of the people I know (IRL) that play/have played the game have/had SPM's around the 220 mark. They were pretty average players, so I guess we could take this as an average of sorts. I don't know, it's hard to know these kind of things without looking at statistics.

Based on your latest stat:

WUUSTER SPM 166,475

Mine: 316,6

Wuuster SPM is extremely low almost noob-level.

1. Which leads me to belive that either you play extremely campy and chicken style
aka hill and mountain camping only.

2. Statwhoring so that you can keep your ELO and KDR
high so you never attack unless you are sure you can kill and escape safely (unfortunately you failed here)

3. Or simply that you are a just a big noob mando who still havent figured out what
playstyle stuits.

At this point you will probaly come with excuses like this is my first mando blah blah...
Either way you are not playing commando like its meant to be, or used to its fullest
potential. Thus you have no idea what it takes to be a successfull mando you have severely underutilized its potential.
And on top of that you say Fast Rifle is easy and accuse me of bad aim. Something is missing here wuuster. How on earth can you claim sniping is easy, when your stats page resembles like a complete noob like all the other mandos in this thread. Dont even bother to answer I already know the answer...

FYI i said SR sniping is difficult. But obviously i have no idea my 13k+ kills counts for nothing while your supposed theory or some frags seen in a video weighs alot more the my combined experience.

LOLOLOLOL good job darkette, you gave me the biggest laugh I had from the official forums in a while. You do know "experience" means absolutely nothing right? I mean, hey take a look at MustangTogunner. With a whopping 75 million total score, I'm sure he's super experienced right? And look at him, one of the worst gunners I ever had the pleasure of stomping.

I'm sorry that as a mostly non-sniping commando that my SPM happens to be lower than yours. I don't know if you know this, but a knifer/pistolero actually has to worry about getting killed, rather than camp and spam fast rifle shots from a distance. The "killing only when you're sure of it and having an escape route" sounds awfully like a knifer's/pistoler's playstyle, and what do you know? Knives and Pistols rank as my most-used weapons. I'm not going to re-quote Drugie, as he has already addressed most of the points I was going to make. And look at that, my total score is only about 60-70% of yours (2.5 million to about 4.6 million), and I have almost twice as many cap points as you do. So, like Drugie, how does a hardcore camper like myself have so many cap points when compared to you? Capping flags =/= camping.

If you're such a pro, why do my ELO and K/D outrank yours by far (and keep in mind I play far less as a mando than you do)? If you were any good your ELO and K/D should be around mine at least (and I'm a "noob," remember?). And if you think fast rifle sniping is so hard, then why is a noob like me actually doing so well with it? And why does a noob like me have a headshot percentage about 60-70%, while yours is not even 50%? In fact, ever since I picked up a rifle, my K/D and ELO have been consistently rising (for a while, my K/D was around 1.8-ish, and I averaged around 1300 ELO, which is pretty decent as a knifer/pistoler). It makes somebody wonder how hard sniping truly is, to the point even a guy who hates playing as commando is doing well with it. And if I were statwh0ring, I guarantee you I can go above my current 2.2 and 1458 ELO. Which makes me wonder how I have the stats page of a noob (unless you think SPM is everything).

Perhaps this is why you think fast rifle sniping is so difficult. For the record, it's called the "fast rifle," not the SR sniper. For the record, sniper rifles are not close-range weapons, and the fast rifle actually gets stronger at longer ranges much like its slow and moderate counterparts. I've played against you, and needless to say your aim sucks with that rifle. You see, if you actually know how to play the fast rifle, you would be making players rage hard and flame you (and even RQ). You would be killing them so fast they wouldn't have time to react. That's the commando's "fullest potential," killing your enemies in an efficient manner (as a sniper, and usually before they can react). If not that, then you're helping your team out by capping flags and setting TT's to disrupt your opponent (as a knifer or a pistoler). Oh yeah, and if your sniping was any good your sniper rifle accuracy should be .5 or higher.

And yes, this is my first commando, so I did noob around for quite a while. But on the other hand, I actually improved. You didn't. 1314 ELO with a shitty K/D ratio and using the most OP build a commando can use? At a first glance I would've thought you were a failed noobbasher.

Next time, get Laeresh's stats before you call me a noob. And also learn to tell when somebody's ranting.

I never claimed to be pro. I have low KDR, ELO and WLR because i play very aggressive. I never quite games when teams are unbalanced. Infact i enjoy the games most when teams are unbalanced and thats when i learn the most, i dont use tonic either. I had 2.9 KDR at lvl 28, but then i decided to dont give a not so good about it and play to win not for stats. Unlike you. When did you play against me dude why you making stuff up? i live in Europe and you in US of A... and i didnt even play a single game from february-june. FYI im the last guy who would noobbash, its for me totally boring and uninteresting, i quit regulary games because in low lvl games is too little action..

And you truly are a noob commando imo. If you wish to disprove go ahead whatever map i will challange you to a duel. But i doubt you will be man enough to take this challenge instead comming up with a lame excuse...

talking about using commandos to its fullest potentional i know exactly what its fullest potential is. I have less playtime on my mando then your mando and i have more then 2 000 000 score then you. On my FR Sniper stats i have about 7 kills per minute used. Show me someone who has used the fast rifle more effective then me.

Yeah, I don't really know that good about what is good or bad. If you want to know you should make some poll or something in wich players post their spm so that you have some precise results, though many different players should participate and thus it would be pretty hard to do. So it's really hard to get some 'average player spm'.

with a SPM of 150 like WUUSTER. I could easily get a KDR of 10+. The higher SPM the harder it gets to maintain a high KDR and ELO. Unless you are looking at a lvl20 mando (easy low lvls) or a noobbasher. IMO a commando with a spm of 250+ is very effective and does help his team alot. For Soldiers and Gunner the same number would be 300+.

A ten tickets round on different maps, no stealth. Other then that you can choose yourself. This way you'll involve not only aim but tactics aswell. Weapons should be the same on both sides I think (and maybe change it 1 time in between the rounds).

Something like: 1 round vv, 1 round cc with one setup and after that again these maps but with a different loadout.

Sounds pretty good and fair to me.

But i am just tired of people who dont know how to play commando are the ones
representing commandos in this thread. And in effect regulating current topics and trends
and thus indirectly controlls how in the future commandos will be patched and influences
devs in somewhat wrong direction.

This all gives a very distored view of the general commando
population needs and wants. Thus its good a for the general debate/thread that someone who
has a different playstyle and opinion gets his opinion heard and taken seriously without
getting slandered at. And that the thread is focused on constructive feedback and not on rants.
