I need help I picked the United Kingdom as my location where I lived just for the fun of it.But I actually live in the US. So when I go buy Bf points it says do you want to buy 700 bf for $5.00 euros, but I don't know how much that is in US dollars?!? So if any one knows plz respond to this topic and if you know how to change the location where u live that would be a bigger help...Thx a lot....Pilotwing..

according to google:
5 Euros = 7.41900 U.S. dollars

(notice the point)

so, something around 7.41~7.42

Go to this link:
http://profile.ea.com

Login with your BFH account, click on Update My Info, change your country to US and pay in USD.

Edit: Oh, and currency for UK is GBP, not EUR.

No, when he change country to USA 700 BF will cost him 5$. But what I told about GBP is that he said he set his country as UK, if that was true currency would be GBP, so he probably choosed different country.

that only works IF you never buyed bf before, after that only CS can manually update your account, if you lets say moved Wink

it will still update on the webpage but not in the billing system

^this, siiix digged lots of info about pay methods during the old times...

a note about updating info.....before some EU people try to do it....pay methods and their secure tansfer (along how you pay, like the credit/debit card and bank you're using) get the country from which you're paying, if someone changes to US "to get a lower price" will get you into 2 possible things (or both)

either your account "barred" from the game (can't purchase at all), or your account on a ban process...since that's taken care off as a fraud (have seen some cases on forum before), so, don't risk it

in other words, only use it when you're actually in another country, or you risk losing your account and/or be marked for fraudulent usage on your whole EA account...

The guy said he's from USA, so I don't see any harm in him setting up correct method of payment.

well if he is from the US then why not just get a prepaid credit card

even if direct credit card payment would not work do to the usual credit card error, still you could open a paypal account with the prepaid credit card

its a lot of work at 1st but once you all set up its easy

Actually he didn't mention he have any problem with purchase method if I understood well, he justt doesn't want to pay in EUR instead of USD which is his currency.
