Which part of that was spam? The retort in general? or the makeshift sad face at the end?

Some VIPs went missing for a day or two for some reason, but when the server restarted it seems they are all back. You still have VIP status...

Honestly none of those questions work, as I was not kicked. I got two warnings and just kind of left due to the game dying.

I understand not wanting people to spam the chat, but it was just me and a royal taking joking jibes at each other. As it was only two times that I typed I don't really see the spam. I gave the main sentence that i was curious about in my last post here

Sometimes saying 2 things in <15 seconds gives you a warning.

I was in server doing jumps alone, a friend joined and i said 'hey' then 'whats up' rapidly, and was given a warning.

Upon further investigation it appears that the chat filter didn't like the amount of alliteration in your sentence. Notice the number of "t's".

Also, a cat is not a person, so it should be written "But the cat's the only cat that knows where it's at."

Does the server kick nR members if it’s filled with lowbies or do they get an exception? I’m just curious. Last I saw it was changed to a 4v4 and then back to the 3 map rotation…but still empty.

By alliteration, he wasn't saying like an entire poem/phrase... He meant just the repetion of a sound.

No we don't nub bash on our server, half of us haven't been on lately, so the server hasn't been seeded and what not. Also We had to film some things 2-3 days ago, so the server went unranked when it was populated.

P.S. We ask for feedback, because we don't know what is wrong with the AutoBalance, in order to make it 'perfect' we need to get feedback from people.

I still can't see the need for a more aggressive chat filter than the one already included in the game. I mean really are we all that hypersensitive that we need to moderate what people are talking about on a cartoon shooter game? Seems to me you guys would save allot of headaches by removing the chat filter. The only thing it does for you is turn people off to your server, no one is going there becasue you have a over active chat filter, that is for sure!

It's not "over-active" for the purpose it serves. Seriously, it isn't a tough concept to grasp. I guess people just aren't ready to stfu and play yet.

Meaning James is trying to force his rules on a community that is not willing or capable to comply. It seems like a waste of time and effort for no reason.

The EA TOS and the chat filter they installed should be more than enough rules to follow. Adding more rules and chat filters on top of the already existing ones certainly comes off as "over-active".

But then again it's your guys server and no one has to play there. If they don't like all the rules they can play on the other 99% of the servers that don't have such a hypersensitive chat filter, commando limits, soldier limits, auto balancing, level protection, etc. etc.

That’s not what alliteration is though. Even JohnnyEnglish pointed it out. Besides, I highly doubt that the code writers included alliteration as a flag parameter in your admin tool. Granted, I could be wrong, but it just doesn’t seem likely.

I wasn’t asking if you noob bashed. I asked if the server kicks you or are you allowed to stay thus changing the level range to allow higher levels to join and slowly getting rid of lowbies. Otherwise, you could be kicked from your own server for days at a time until the average gets high enough that you could join and play.

I am simply replying. It’s no different than your reply to dredned. You are trying to explain or defend your reasoning just as I am. If we all followed your logic then the forums would simply consist of a list of names that we could PM and converse with…That doesn’t sound very appealing.
