I will say that the grenade is more powerfull than the Grenade launcher. on grenade from the launcer does 15-24dmg per direct hit. A single normal grenade can do around 60-80 dmg. And most of the players react when they get hit, and will start run away, which makes it harder to hit with the Grenade Launcher.
I personly have a Grenade launcher, because i like to spam grenades all over the place, to make a smokey shield for my teammates, while we are attacking

BS SUCKS if the tank is far away and you cant reach it and tnt is too
