Unfinished poem/lyrics

Got these shackles round my neck.
Keep me tied to my death.
Let me out of my head.
Let me drown in my depth.
Though I keep moving on it leaves scars on my brain.
Cos the monster I tied up has broken it's chains.
It keeps coming for me, hunting me down through my mind
Though I try to use thoughts to destroy what it finds.
But it's strong and it fights.
And I can't realise.
That the demon that's free, is something of mine.
So I just walk on at the side of road.
And I stick to the edge so my face ain't known.
And it's strange, that no one seems to pass this way.
As if they already know what awaits my fate.
Cos my beast ain't slain and there's always rain
When I wander the tracks to approach my domain.
It's my final test as I battle the beast.
End of the road and I pick up my feet.
Watch as it rises to conquer the free.
I gave you my life so my life came to cease.

Unfinished Lyrics 1

My life as it is, is a story of tragedy.
My vice is my life and I burn through it rapidly.
My heart gets broken and my mind goes off,
Off to place where my thoughts don't stop,
The place where I wish to erase what I've got.
If I can live like this then there ain't no God.
And I don't feel blessed cos I'm stuck in my downfall.
I just wanna live in a life without shackles.
But some people. They make sure you're always trapped.
That you can't just take what you already have.
It's just the game of life in another mans wrath.
But they can't take away what I say on this track.
So props to Skinnyman, Chester P and Farma G,
Jehst, Phi-Life and big up to Lowkey.
Cos it's these MC's that speak their own mind.
And it's a shame that this world can't realise
True talent when they see it infront of their eyes.
But just keep on, Charlie and TY.
Cos sometimes it's you that keeps me alive.
Your music provides what I just can't find.
You've inspired me and I'll keep on fighting.
I treat my lyrics like fireworks I keep on lighting.
The way that I think I rebel what I'm taught
And I don't put faith in the so called Lord.
I just do what I feel, at least I did before.
But now my mind don't know what it wants no more.

Poem 4 (The Dark Room)

You stand in a Dark Room. A large, Dark Room.
At first nothing is out of place. You are just

Yourself.

But as time goes on you become anxious of the Dark Room.
Your heart starts to race and your mind creates Dark fantasies of the Dark Room.
The more nervous you become, the smaller the Dark Room gets.
As you feel the Room enclose itself around you, your worries increase.

The Dark seeds planted in your Dark mind start to grow within the Dark Room.
Your mind starts to change and you become something that is not you. Something that is

Not yourself.

The Room tightens more and more and as it does so, you lose more and more of your former self.
Eventually the Room tightens so much that you find yourself

Trapped.

Unable to move.
Yet still it closes around you until eventually it can close no more.
It has become you.

Dark Room

Let's be honest, since you died,
I been losing my mind.
Try to rewind,
Go back and find beautiful times.
The strangest thing is that you weren't even mine.
But I'd give anything to wake up, just a dream of the night.
Feel like I ***ked up,
40 years was hardly a life.
You were strong and we all hoped that you would survive.
My hopes lied,
I can't face the truth of that night
They said 2 weeks,
They went and you were short on time.
Your daughter blames herself for the fact that she didn't realise.
And your son smokes weed, not high but trying to get by.
I try to be there, but all I do is cry while I write.
Within my life, you became a one of a kind.
I'm torn inside.
Cos you left me in a position to be their protector.
The love that you gave, I hold it forever.
But now your fam looks to me hold it together,
Got mans telling me they think that it'll never be better.
What do I say?
Cos truth is, this hit me harder than most.
I stay awake at night, waiting for the presence of ghost.

In places I felt kinda mean but now that she's gone it's torn her whole family to pieces. She had 3 children but she still treated me like I was one of hers and her family look to me for guidance. This helped me get a lot of things off my chest.

She was my friend's (Dale) mum. But my mum's never really been theer and such (alcoholic) and Sarah was the closest person I had to a real mother. She died from cancer 9th June.
