You would be right on the accuracy. The SR pistol, for unknown reasons is more accurate than the mr pistol. Unless I'm mistaken that makes the mr pistol the only mr weapon that is less accurate than its sr counterpart.

Bump, buff it. I'll take anything. I love the pistol as is, but it does need at the very least a slight buff in accuracy.

Seeing for how long we try to get a buff for the MR pistols I highly doubt that there will be a nerf to the flintlock pistol...

Sad, but true.
Honestly the flinlock pistol is more annoying than OP (at least currently, not many people seem to know how to use it the most effectively), so I can deal with how it is.. but I really want this damn buff for the mid range pistol :/

So far as the flintlock is concerned I'm more worried about this trend towards BF only weapons. In a way by using BF only to limit the number of purchases it can be used to justify a weapon as "balanced." If the weapon had equal access through VP (thus boosting sales, witness the difference between GL use and assault shotty/uzi use) a truly OP weapon would require nerfs since there is a very good chance of it showing up on the battlefield. People might not notice a weapon as OP if they only run into a user every now and again so they might be more quick to blame skill/hacks/whatever instead of the weapon. In contrast, if many/most of a team in most rounds uses a weapon it becomes harder not to blame the weapon.

At any rate I'll take the MR pistol buff first, as Dorian said the flintlock is more annoying than OP right now. Again to everyone who has signed: thank you for the support! Keep spreading the word so we can get more signs and get the devs to take notice!

Thanks to everyone who has supported the buff thus far! As an update for those who may not have heard the blues have mentioned buffing the mr pistol in the general chat thread regarding what's coming to BFH this summer and beyond. No specific details as to what a buff to this pistol may be but this is still excellent news as it means our request for a buff hasn't fallen on deaf ears.

So keep those signs coming to reinforce that making a mr pistol buff a reality is a good call by the devs and something that will make the community happy!

Gotta agree, it feels good to be one of the few Midrange Pistol users.
Would love to see the buff, it would make it easier to dual pistol it Big Grin

Right now it can only be used as a knife killer, really and you can take down a soldier easy enough, if within the sweetspot, using uber and super version of it.

/sign, especially for the ammo. I haven't noticed low accuracy, but I'll be looking for it when I next play.

I personally like it the best, but it is the weakest. I just feel like it is more useful. Again, I don't really see the accuracy, but even 2 more bullets would be good. 6 is just so low.
