Typing "slick" before almost any obscenity will completely dodge the filter. Many of us would like to be able to enjoy the game without being bombarded with vulgar in the chat window. This can be easily fixed in an update, it would simply require some time.

Please refrain from trolling about how "this is a war game" and "you don't have to read the chat" and "cursing is just my style". Thanks. Wink

Devs refused to put in a chat filter on/off option in a timely fashion, the community responded by coming up with it's own on/off option.

its annoying how you can bypass the filters using the "slick" method but you cannot say "as soon" because it contains the word ass... Even when it is separated by a space.

My favorite is when it blocks "put a" as in "put a shirt on" for Spanish cursing. Big Grin

This is why the language filter fails.

Same for a few Dutch word combinations, which are absolutely not cursing/bad words, but BFH language filter just goes and censors it anyway...
