For me Battlefied heros was 8 hours download.

The closed beta will open on November 30th, you can expect the file size to be in line with this game. perhaps a bit bigger.

If it took you 8 hours to download this game, then your internet is very slow and you must lag terribly when playing. This game (on average) downloads in ten to fifteen minutes.

so when i first downloaded it should only have taking 15mins?

If there are hundreds of players downloading the game simultaneously, the downloading rate could be very slow.

I would expect BF:P4F to be a big download, since it's based on BF:BC2 skins and models..

took me about 4 mins to download bfh so i imagine when battlefield playforfree come out i think for me it will take 10mins 20 max i cant wait

Just BFBC2 Skins. Engine is still the "old" DICE engine which is what BF2, 2142 and heroes runs on. DL time will vary on your connection, so an answer to how long how big is well, pointless.
