Three new chapters all incoming at once soon (Maybe tomorrow or Thursday) along with a fourth this weekend. It seemed better I released all three continuing, well you'll know why when I do.

Three new chapters coming to ya guys tomorrow along with a fourth on Wedsnday, before I leave to vacation (Don't worry, I'll have wifi and will be able to post chapters, with lots of free time on my hands). Oh and guys, just like to say that we are nearing the end of the story, the final showdown. Everything ends by the end of this month.

And one more thing. It's been well over a year (maybe even two I believe) when I started the story. For everyone that stuck with me till the end I'd like to thank and praise them for being patient. For the newcomers who came late, and couldn't sign-up, well don't you worry. In the sequel you guys can sign-up as there will be much more slots to take.

Not trying to be a douche, but I just enjoy this story.

I don't know why I'd want bring this story back, but I do. It has been three months or more since I've written anything due to life. I completely shut off all pressure from everything and so here I am, back. Now, I am going to leave this up to the readers of this story on whether I should continue on writing this and finishing it. I know many must have left, but there might be some left still here on the forums.

So, now I stand here awaiting all your responses whether I should let this story go because I don't think it's fair that I let people down by not continuing this story without even telling you guys.

If no one responds then I'll take it that no one wants me to continue. If you guys do, I will continue until I finish not only this but the next sequels that follow.

Chapter Twenty-Two: Life Everlasting (Preview)

The sight.

The distant sight of life.

Somehow I see it, right there, in the middle of the white, fluffy haze.

My legs pound in shear pain that shot up throughout my nerves. It causes my hands to slip the grip on the cold steel grip on the SMG, letting it plop into the snow. My feet drag, sludging through the mounds of snow, instead of walking. I strain to see it, the light in the distance, laughing at me, mimicking me. The destruction of the mine behind me must be far away now as I don't hear the sound of joyous, trickling fire that eats away at the rubble of the ruined mine.

I can see the light slowly begin to diminish and I reach my hand out for it, to touch it. The light has to be the way out. It has to be. I begin to pick my legs up, feeling my muscles begin to tense up, begin to burn. I run. The light starts to flicker and I gasp, wondering what my mind would do if the light were to go out. But it did. The light shut off and I start to give up, stopping my feet from picking up anymore speed.

I bend over, breathing in the near-to freezing air, the icy tendrils sliding into my neck, reaching down to my lungs where it resides, frozen in place.

I look back up where the light used to be and I sigh, shaking my head, knowing that this is all over. The chase was futile, and I knew that, I knew it was nothing but another mirage beckoning you to come and join it in safety. To escape a world of cruelty and to escape into another filled with glamour and freedom. Freedom. Something I can no longer relate to anymore. I set myself down in front of the tree next to me. My shirt scratching the thick bark, scraping off tiny wooden particles. I look up to the sky only to hear a click behind me. The sound of a gun cocking. A pistol.

I stay looking up at the sky and hear his words that lick my bones with its chilling subject.

"I'm back. Did you miss me?"

I don't need to figure out who had said those words as I already know well enough who it is.

Hahns...the Assassin.

Well, guys, it's been awhile. A looooooooooong while.

But I am back.

In black...

Nah, I am really just back.

Anyways, I figured, since I am coming back and I planned to post the chapter in a few days time, why not give you guys a little preview of the upcoming chapter? The chapter is already complete, all it needs is editing and it should be up on the website.

Now, I realized, that you guys might be like "Rickmaster, you freaking suck. Why were you gone?"

Well my answer to that is,

"Life."

Yeah, life. It hit me hard and hit me good.

I wasn't able to do anything recreational for a good amount of time before.

But you need not to fret as I am back.

And I am determined to finish what I had started.

And there is only about ten (or nine) more chapters left to finish this puppy up.

That's right everyone.

We are almost done and I am planning to finish the story before the end of February.

So get ready, everyone, because I am back.

And I am going to finish this, for you guys.
