Yes you have a good enoug connection.
How many other pc/laptops or other devices do you have connected via your home network?
If any, disconnect everything from the Net apart from your own pc/laptop and try again.
Also make sure you have other things such as, skype, MSN and/or any type of downloading program for things like music and videos turned off
Also try downloading Game Booster this handly little tool turns things off that your pc/laptop doesn't need to work. Run it just before you start playing BFH.

start cmd.exe (if you can not find it google it)

type:
ping http://www.battlefieldheroes.com -t

Now you will see if you will see if you have a stable internetconnection.

Let it run on the background and when playing bfh and you have the problem with the connection check if your connection is good (look at cmd.exe)

but you can use any website.
