Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another brainbuster, hosted by, yours truly, BobSwarley! The reward was given to me for winning Groonz' contest, so give him a thank also! So let's get those engines running, cause here is the second brainbuster, ready to be solved! (F.Y.I I decided to call the "mascot" in the puzzles "Darwin".

While discovering the tombs of an ancient Pharao, Darwin finds a scroll of papyrus with random words written upon. But there is one missing word on the scroll, which Darwin can't put in place.
Can you figure out the missing word?

NOTE: THE CONTEST IS OVER, FreiWieDerWind gave the correct answer which was "SKIN".

Solution:

The letters in each row is an anagram for the Battlefield Heroes developers/moderators:

FOLKE KITE= KIT EKLOF

AERIAL USER HONK= NASEER ALKHOURI

ANIMAL LAIR VIEW = WILLIAM RAVAINE

and finally:

KIDS REFORM _____ = KIM FREDRIKSSON

The missing letters in his name builds the word "SKIN" following the pattern.

Explanation of clues:

1. Anagrams- self explanatory
2. The anagrams goes from left to right- in the horizontal direction (the direction of the waves, rather than direction of a sunray which is vertical).
3. A dictionairy can't hold names, but another large book can- a phonebook.
4. Also self-explanatory
5. Take 2 steps back in your browser (virtually) to the forum main page, and at the top of the page you will see the letters: Kit E, and the community profile forum. I was hoping someone would be able to spot this sooner or later.

I'm sorry that the puzzle doesn't involve some advanced algorithm, but this gives everyone a chance to win, no matter the level of their knowledge. As I said, the problem was taken from another site, which was actually a site for games for kids, which turned out very well there. I didn't I hope that I would have to give clues, but noone seemed to be able to solve it. If you have found them diffuse- I didn't want to make it too easy, but I wanted you to think some for yourself also.

FreiWieDerWind Will be rewarded an XP code. A new contest will be hosted soon with a new problem.

Hints & Tips

• As people already have figured out- the puzzle contains anagrams.
• To solve the problem with help from clue #1, follow the horizontal directions.
• The unraveled anagrams can't be found in a dictionary, but in another book of almost the same size. What words can't a dictionary hold? The book I'm refering to also contains numbers.
• The puzzle has a connection to Battlefield Heroes. Know the community well, and this Brainbuster will be dead easy.
• Literally take 2 virtual steps back and you will see the answer.
